Following on from a similar event earlier this year in Sheffield, and 4x4 in Leeds, we would like to encourage further exchange of ideas on Sheffield’s urban design. We are bringing together the public, as stakeholders, and professionals from across and outside of the city to discuss the future of Sheffield’s built environment and design of the city.

‘Is our city Inclusive?’(24th November) - chaired by Jeremy Till from Sheffield University’s School of Architecture - will look closely at the emerging identity of Sheffield as its regeneration becomes a reality.

In light of the ongoing row about Sheffield’s 30-storey residential tower, our debate
'Icon or Eyesore' (1st December) will explore the merits of tall buildings with speakers from both sides of the argument.

For further information please contact Simon Gedye, Director, Allen Tod Architecture Ltd via email sg at

Both sessions will be held from 6 -8pm in the Showroom Cinema, Paternoster Row, Sheffield.

They are free and seats will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to reserve a ticket please get in touch with Kate Lockhart on 0114 221 0353 or by email klockhart at
